FACEBOOK APPS IDENTITY THEFT: I am writing this as a heads up to all. While identity theft in recent years is on the rise, and a criminal offense punishable by jail time. Facebook and the third party companies who use your personal data for targeted advertising, also have the ability to ruin professional reputations. Facebook apps like "pass a drink" "puff puff pass" and a myriad of others can, will and do sell this information to any one with money. What if local law inforcement had access to your smoking habits.. hmmm ,,, what about higher up government agencies. Let me give you an example , ever notice hoe the adds you see are starting to reallt follow your personal data? Like man 65 divorced all of a sudden starts showing ads in the side bar for dating sites for seniors even if they are not allowing these ads. This is because all the online games are collecting your habits for ANY senerio under the sun... hmmm may be you should be worried about seeing child social services if you dont water your cows on farmville.
