While BP and other large corporations are trying to legally distance themselves from any financial liability there is no doubt to the disastrous nature of this oil spill and the repercussions to flora and fauna to the gulf of Mexico. Why is it our government can make the decision to spend billions to put a man on the moon but can not seem to regulate the installation of a safety valve that would have averted this catastrophe.
